Anyone who still thinks esports is just a pastime for teenagers glued to their screens all day is seriously out of touch. Today, esports in Malaysia is a multi-billion MYR industry with a fanbase that spans every walk of life – from university students to working professionals, from the heart of Kuala Lumpur to small towns across Sabah and Sarawak.
Mobile Legends: Bang Bang – better known as MLBB – is the most widely played esports title in Malaysia. Every MPL MY season, arenas fill with fans cheering on their favourite teams. Names like RSG MY, Todak, and BURN x Flora are household names among local supporters. koin805 understands this scene deeply, which is why we've invested in building betting markets that genuinely cover this league – not just in name, but with competitive odds and real-time updates every minute.
Beyond MLBB, Malaysia's DOTA 2 community is equally thriving. The DOTA 2 MY Major, previously held in Kuala Lumpur, put Malaysia on the global e-sports map. koin805 taps into this growing enthusiasm by offering betting markets for all major DOTA 2 tournaments – from regional qualifiers all the way to the prestigious The International.

One of koin805's biggest advantages for e-sports fans is its sophisticated in-play betting system. Unlike conventional football with its clear half-time break, titles like MLBB and DOTA 2 move at a rapid pace – the match situation can shift dramatically within minutes. That's exactly what makes e-sports in-play betting so thrilling.
Picture this: you're watching an MPL MY match between RSG MY and Todak. After RSG wins game one comfortably, most bettors back RSG to take the series. But you notice Todak starting to adjust their strategy in game two – different hero picks, a more patient tempo. With koin805's in-play betting, you can act on that read in real time and potentially secure better odds before everyone else catches on.
For Valorant and CS2, koin805 offers map-by-map markets that let you bet on the winner of each individual map rather than just the overall match. This gives players who truly understand the game more opportunities and flexibility to put their in-depth knowledge to work.
All of this is available through a responsive interface accessible from your smartphone – whether you're streaming on YouTube, Twitch or the official MPL platform. You can watch and bet at the same time without any interruption, wherever you are in Malaysia.
More than just picking a winner – explore a wide range of e-sports-specific markets
